Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2012 Honda CR-V
Question:
Hi guys! Can you put together and estimate for me? I need all the parts to install flat tow my 2012 Honda CRV. I need the baseplate, tow bar, wiring, permanently installed breaking system, fuse switch. I have used the Roadmaster towbar in the past on another car and liked it but open to suggestions with durability, ease of use etc as priority. Thanks!

I would be happy to put together a list of parts to flat tow your vehicle. Roadmaster is a great brand and what I typically recommend so I would stick with it. A lot of knowledge and experience goes into their parts. They're also easy to use and incredibly reliable . For your 2012 Honda CR-V I recommend the following:
-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521567-5
-Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522
-RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
-Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
-Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511 (If your owner's manual says to only pull the #19 ACC radio fuse)
or
-Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76512 (If your owner's manual says to pull the #19 ACC radio fuse and the #20 ACC key lock fuse)
-Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 with Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400
More than likely you will also need a high-low adapter to keep your tow bar level. I have attached an article below which explains how to measure and choose the correct adapter. I also added a link to all of our available high low adapters, along with installation videos for your reference.
