I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 for your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. This is my favorite controller as it has an easy to read LCD and is well know for its durability and functionality. You will need to know if you have the new body style or the classic as the wiring for these will be different. On the new body style the wiring is already under the dash but will need to be wired in. On the classic body style there is a connector which you can plug and play with the Wiring Adapter # 3015-P. I have linked installation videos for both body styles below so you can see all the steps involved in the installation.
