Parts Needed to Install 7-Way and Brake Controller 2023 Subaru Wilderness Outback
Question:
I have a 2023 Subaru Wilderness Outback with a trailer hitch and a four pin wiring connector. I need to install a 7 or 8 pin for a new trailer Im buying. Do you have anything that fits?

The trailer you will be buying has a 7-way trailer wiring connector so to convert your 4-way to it you would want the part # 37185 unless the trailer has brakes that you need to control (most likely since it has a 7-way) then instead you'd want the part # ETBC7 with a brake controller. For a brake controller I would recommend the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR and the install harness part # RED69FR. Unlike other controllers this puts only a small knob on the dash and has a proportional sensor that decides how hard to apply the brakes based on how hard you hit the vehicle brakes.
The 37185 just comes with the 4-way to 7-way adapter Gary but the ETBC7 comes with that and the wiring needed to install a brake controller.
