Will The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76020 Accept The J-Pin Anti-Rattle Lock?
Question:
Is hitch part # 76020 compatible with J-pin part #63201?

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76020 for your 2023 Mazda CX-9 is no longer compatible with the J-Pin 63201. Draw-Tite stopped making their receivers compatible with this pin in 2021 and we have long sold through all those receivers. We do offer their QSP Trailer Hitch Silencer and Cover # 63080 which will also help to reduce the rattle on 2" ball mounts and hitch mounted accessories. But you will still need a separate Lock # e98882 to secure everything.
I do recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118278 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat connector which is the most commonly used connector on small trailers. It will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 should you have a hitch mounted accessory which impairs the view of your tail lights to other drivers.
