Can a 4,700 Pound Boat Trailer be Moved without Using a Motorized Trailer Dolly
Question:
I have a boat on a tandem trailer. Total weight including boat,trailer full of gear andgas iS 4700 lbs. can it be moved without motorized dolly. What do you suggest?

You could probably move the boat and trailer if it was on level ground but up an incline would be difficult. The tongue weight of a boat trailer is normally lower compared to a utility trailer with the same gross trailer weight. This is because the rear of a boat is heavier than the front.
If the tongue weight of your boat does not exceed 500 pounds you could use the Trailer Valet, # STC-V211. This is a jack and trailer mover in one. It has two speeds for easy moving of the trailer. It also has a brake should the trailer get away from you. I have included a link to a video review of the Trailer Valet for you.
