Is The Yakima EXO Swing Away Compatible With My Trailer Hitch?
Question:
I have a Curt tow bar/hitch on a 2020 Winnebago Travato. Standard 2” hitch seems to me. Numbers include: V-5 and S0108U-RA. Is the Yakima swing away that takes two gear lockers compatible with this hitch? Thank you.

What you have there is a Curt class 3 trailer hitch. You are correct that it is the standard 2" receiver. This is very common to see on the Ram Promaster vans like your 2021 Winnebago Travoto.
The Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers # Y74ZR will indeed be compatible with your Curt hitch. The main thing to be aware of here is the weight capacity. Your Curt hitch is rated for 350 lbs of tongue weight. The EXO system with two cargo boxes weighs 157 lbs. This will leave you with about 193 lbs of capacity left for your gear. Each box can hold 10 cubic feet which is quite a bit of space when you have two of them in play. You will just want to make sure you are evenly loading your gear, and that you are not exceeding the 350 lb tongue weight rating of the hitch.
The best thing about the EXO system is its versatility. It allows you rear hatch access, while allowing you to open both gear lockers at the same time. There are also lots of other accessories available for the EXO system besides the gear lockers. Stuff like a table # Y84VR, bike rack # Y24VR, ski carrier # Y57VR, or even a complete camp kitchen # Y26AV is available for the EXO. So there really is so much you can do with it beyond just gear storage.
