Solution for Having 2018 GMC Sierra with OEM Rail Kit and Patriot Sliding Fifth Wheel
Question:
I had a 2008 chevy 2500hd with the industry standard rails in the bed to tow my 5th wheel. I have a bandw patriot 18k slider hitch and I sold the truck. I bought a 2018 gmc 2500hd crew cab that has the oem puck system. Is there an adapter out there that works with this hitch so I can use It in my truck with out having to buy a new one?

Expert Reply:
The B and W Patriot Slider hitch is an oddball hitch as it's the only one that can't be used with any of the rail kit adapters. There won't be any way to adapt it to your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 with an OEM to fit this hitch so best option would be a new hitch like the Companion slider part # BWRVK3770.
