Troubleshooting Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller Light Wont go From Green to Red

Question:

I replaced my non working tekonsha sentinel with a tekonsha voyager. It is installed level. I did not hook on to my 5th wheel camper. I did hook up the trailer wiring to the truck. The green light lit. No matter what position I put the leveling knob in the green light does not go to red. Why? Installation is on a 1997 Dodge 3500.

That would indicate the controller is either not level side to side or has an internal problem. This is actually the second Voyager I've seen in the past couple days with this exact problem. The other guy ended up determining it was an internal problem and had to replace his.

For a brake controller replacement I would recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
