There is an adapter available that will allow you to use your Reese tow bar with Roadmaster base plates for your 2016 Jeep Wrangler, but the adapter won't work with the Direct Connect # RM-521448-5. So instead, what you will need is the following:

- Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-521448-4

- Roadmaster Base Plate to Tow Ready Tow Bar Adapter # RM-025

- Replacement Roadmaster Tow Bar Quick Disconnect Kit # RM-201

This is the set up needed, as the base plates will fit your '16 Wrangler, the adapter is correct for your tow bar, and the quick disconnect will allow you to remove the arms.
