What Grade Steel is Swagman Locking Hitch Pin 64029 Made Of

Can you tell me what the hardness grade of steel the #S64029 hitch pin is? Is it hardened and tempered or what grade #2, #5, #8 etc?

I spoke with my contact at Swagman and I have the following information on locking hitch pin # S64029. The pin is constructed of 1008 steel and has heavy chrome plating.
It is also 12 UNC Coarse threaded.
It is designed for Swagman bike racks and would not work with accessories that are threaded differently.
