How To Register A Homemade Trailer
Question:
I received a trailer with no vin the gentlemen I received it from got it for free and used it on his farm. I would like to get it registered I do have a bill of sale from him/company . All the lights work and the electric breaks it is a tandem axle trailer

You will need to check with your county because it differs per location. Normally with homemade trailers, which yours would probably qualify as one, you would need to get it inspected by a sheriff or highway patrol. You would then go to the DMV with forms to get a VIN tag that gets fastened to your trailer tongue. But as I said, you will definitely need to check your local laws and rules.
