Solution for Mounting of Xtreme Off Road Swing Up Jack on 3 inch Tall Frame
Question:
My trailer tongue is 2inch wide x 3inch deep. I have not been able to get the jack fully secured. If I line bottom bolts up with bottom of frame I dont seem to be able to tighten the top bolts without bending the brackets. As I have it now a bit centered there is still movement on the jack if the small trailer is loaded and I attempt to move less than 1K lbs fully loaded. The instructions had almost nothing about installation on the trailer frame. Im sure Im missing something straight forward or this jack simply will not work with this size frame. Thanks for any help you can pro=vide.

If I were you what I would do is see if you can find a welder/fabrictor in your area that could make you metal spacers to take up the extra room so that the bolts don't have as much room above and below the frame. Another option would be to try and rotate the mounting bracket 90 degrees to see if that allows for a better fit.
