Recommendation For Getting Advent Air Conditioner On Camper Roof When Replacing Dometic AC

I saw on the cements a guy did in a hour half give some tip how he did it manly how it up on the roof and the old down .

The hardest part of installing the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup # ACDOM150 is safely getting it on the roof where you need it. First you will need to determine if your roof is safely walkable otherwise you will need to get some plywood sheets to make working on your roof safe. To get it to the roof I have seen various options but find it easiest to leave the AC in the box and slide it up to the roof. You can use some long lumber to create a ramp or possibly a walk board to slide it up. If you have a truck you can shorten the distance to the roof by starting in the truck bed versus on the ground. Trying to walk the 68lb air conditioner up a ladder can be dangerous.
