Smallest Diameter Wheel and Tire Capable of Supporting 1,700LBS
Question:
Im wondering what the lowest-profile trailer wheel/tire combo is that would have a maximum load of 1,700 lbs. or more. Ive found lots of 15inch and 16inch wheels that have this load rating with pretty large tires, but Im looking for the shortest overall tire+wheel. thanks

It appears currently the Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire w/13" White Modular Wheel # AM3S333 is going to be our smallest size wheel capable of supporting at least 1,700lbs. If you can live with a tire rated for 1,650lbs we can go way down to the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" White Wheel # AM3H480. This tire is only 20.4" tall compared to the ST185/80D13 which is 24.4" tall.
