1997 Toyota 4Runner Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendations for Towing a Trailer
Question:
Hitch for 4Runner 1997. I also need wiring for towing small trailer.

I recommend picking up the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e37KR and the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55341 for your 1997 Toyota 4Runner. The etrailer hitch has a matte black finish that's more durable than the glossy black finishes we see on other hitches, and then the wiring tees in behind your tail lights.
You'll also need the mounting brackets # 18144 and # C83DR to keep the 4-Way connector near your hitch receiver for easy access.
I also recommend checking out the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534 to round out your towing setup!
