Does a Hitch from a 2017 Subaru Outback Fit a 2024 Subaru Outback?

HiI bought a trailer hitch for my 2017 outback awhile back. its been great, but the car died and now Im getting a 2024 Outback. Will the old hitch fit the new car. The part number of the one I got is:I TEM # 306-X7266 Thanks,

Sorry the EcoHitch item # 306-X7601 that fits the 2017 Subaru Outback does not fit the 2024 Outback. It stopped at the 2019 model year.
To add a hitch to your 2024 Subaru Outback, I recommend the etrailer item # e25TR. This hitch has an identical mounting method to your current one. The crosstube also mounts behind the rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver visible.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56040.
