Are Relays Required to Install a Prodigy P2 Brake Controller in a 2007 Ford F150
Question:
The installation text associated with this video refers to installing a relay in the fuse box. I purchased the P2 and wiring adapter for my 2007 Ford F150. The parts arrived with no relay included. Do I need a relay? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
If your vehicle has the factory 7-way at the rear of it then no, you would not need any additional relays to install the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885 in your 2007. If you installed an aftermarket 7-way then you would need to install relay(s). We do not carry the relays, you could track them down at a dealer or at a local auto parts store.
