How To Remove Broken Plastic Pins Which Fell Inside Aries 4" Oval Nerf Bar When Replacing Step Pad
Question:
2016 Ram 1500 crew cab 4x4. So I am missing a step pad that when it broke off the plastic pins were left in the bar. The only way to remove the broken plastic was to tap them out and remove the metal clips which I did. Now the plastic pieces are all in the bar. Any ideas how to remove them, before I install the replacement pad?

With the ends of your Aries Oval Nerf Bars # AAS225041 being sealed and only having the one hole large enough to reach into I recommend using fly tape to insert into the opening you do have. You can then drive around with your 2016 Ram 1500 so the small broken pins will move around inside the step and get stuck to the fly tape. After you have retrieved the pins you will be able to install the new Pad # AA2090161
