Can etrailer 2-in-1 Exterior Windshield Cover Be Installed on a Wet Window From Rain to Avoid Frost

Can you put it on a wet rainy window at night to avoid frost in the morning?

The etrailer 2-in-1 Exterior Windshield and Wiper Blade Cover # e98899 can be placed on a wet and rainy window but I don't think it will have the affect you're wanting. I've used the Hopkins Heavy-Duty ArcticGuard Snow and Ice Windshield Cover # HM17529 in the same manner you're talking about and I've had to kind of peel the windshield off since that rain became frozen so it was a combination of having the defroster on for a bit and peeling the cover off.
Since the etrailer 2-in-1 has a silver side that would be placed on the window that would likely peel, I recommend using either the Hopkins cover I mentioned above, or using the etrailer Snoblock Snow and Ice Windshield and Wiper Blade Cover # 288-06603 which doesn't have a silver side that would be prone to flaking if it were peeled off your windshield.
It will help keep frost from forming but you'll have to work a little if it's cold enough for the cover to freeze to the windshield.
