Help Reducing Play Between 5TH Wheel Hitch and Rails Allowing Hitch To Rock And No Longer Sit Flat
Question:
My curt 18 k does not sit flat on the rails loosened the 4 bolts had it laying flat. Once I used my trailer it went back to the same thing wear the hitch rocks back and forth also toque the bolts to 100 ft lbs

Something that may help you is by placing some spacers or Dampeners # 16900 between the hitch and the rails. This will reduce the amount of vertical play your Curt 18K 5th wheel hitch has and prevent it from rocking around inside your rails.
