Best Brake Controller for 2023 Ford Explorer ST With Tow Package
Question:
I just bought an 2023 Ford Explorer ST. I need to install an electric brake controller to the vehicle. It did come with the tow package so already have the 7 and 4 pin connectors. What would be the best way to go from here?

The best way to go would be to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR. The Liberty is simple, reliable, and won't take up space in your vehicle. The main unit installs behind the dash, so only the control knob is visible. The knob controls the braking power and also acts as the manual override. Since you have the factory tow package with a 7-way you can use the # RED87FR for a plug and play installation.
I added an installation video below for your reference.
