Will Fishing Rods Carried on Roof Get Damaged from Wind
Question:
Do I need to worry about rods breaking due to wind when driving down the highway? Would it be better to place the reels front to back?

There's actually not as much wind on the top of your vehicle as you'd think so you wouldn't have to worry about your fishing rods breaking when using the Rhino Rack ski carrier part # RR572. You can put them on the roof in either orientation.
