Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller Shows Gain On Display With No Power Going To 7-Way Connector

Question:

Have a prodigy break controller, I did not install, does not have any gains other than 6.1-6.3, tested rear plug on truck, no power when break depressed or controller depressed? Yes mad sure of good ground and checked all other lights.

With your brake controller displaying a readout and not providing any power to the trailer connector it sounds like the controller itself is defective. If you are the original owner of the controller you can try reaching out to Tekonsha and determining if the controller can be replaced under warranty. Otherwise you will want to get a replacement controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195. This will use the same connector so you will not have to change any of the wiring.
