Troubleshooting WatchDog E2 Error Code

Question:

We have the 50Amp hardwired surge protector installed. We are running a 4500 W Westinghouse inverter generator. When we hook up to the 30 amp receptacle and attempt to power up either the mock 15 or mock 13 AC unit, we get a E2 error code. Do we need to install a soft start to overcome this issue? Or what do we need to do to make this work? Previously we were able to run our AC units with this generator prior to installing the Hughes surge protector. This is on a 2022 grand design reflection 337 fifth wheel.

The E2 error of your Watchdog part # HU27FR means you have a voltage issue on line 2. The Watchdog has determined that the voltage coming in has either exceeded 132 volts or is below 104 volts. If you press the Live Reading button you can see what the voltage is at this time. Most likely it's low due to the AC drawing a lot. A Softstart will help and since you have a 2 AC setup you'd need the part # SSR44FR.
