Should MORryde X-Factor Crossmember be in Front of or Behind Axle on Single Axle Trailer

Question:

2020 Forest River Salem FSX 178BHSK. This is a single axle TT. I want to install one kit only. Wondering 1 is it better to install the single kit fore or aft of the single axle. And 2 can installation be performed on one side at a time with only one tire removed at a time. Or, must both tires be off and rig totally suspended by jacks and jack stands? Thx

That's a smart question, and because there is more weight and less stability at the rear of the trailer, install the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers # MR33WR aft/behind the single axle on your trailer.

As for the installation, it's possible to do it one side at a time, sure, but it'll be more difficult as the trailer will be at a bit of an angle. If you can do so, I'd lift up the entire back end of the rig on jacks to install the # MR33WR.
