Do I Need a Powered Modulite for a 2007 Jeep Liberty and What Part Would I Use

For your 2007 Jeep Liberty, there are a couple of trailer wiring options. If the Liberty did not come with a tow package, you will need T-One Connector w/Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite, # 118524. A powered converter is required to protect the vehicle sensitive electronics on models not equipped with a tow package.

If your Liberty did come with a factory tow package, you would need Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118381. A Liberty with a tow package has a wiring harness made for a trailer wiring connector like this one, so a powered converter is not needed.
