Using the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37120ET when connecting to your Griffin GT-712 dump trailer is going to be the best way to reduce rear end sag and make driving loaded much safer. This particular hitch is rated for a trailer up to 12,000lbs with a tongue weight of 800-1,200lbs. The Equal-i-zer help to transfer weight more evenly across your 2017 Ram 1500 so it will reduce rear end sag while also adding weight to the front suspension which will help reduce diminished braking as well as the light steering feel which is often felt when towing heavy trailers.
