Draw-Tite or etrailer? Which Hitch is Better for a 2018 Ford Edge SEL

Trailer hitch 2018 ford edge sel. Does the e trailer brand cross bar also hidden like the draw tite brand advertises? Is one brand any better than the other? Thanks

Yes, both the etrailer item # e36RR and the Draw-Tite item # 75234 hitches conceal the crossbar behind the bumper of your 2018 Ford Edge SEL. All you will see once installed is the 2" receiver and the safety chain loops. Both hitches are confirmed to fit your vehicle and have identical capacities of 4,500 lbs for towing and 675 lbs maximum tongue weights.
I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e36RR because of its flat matte black finish over the glossy Draw-Tite item # 75234 and the etrailer one has the better price. The flat finish will blend in better beneath your Ford's trim then the shinny finish they add to the Draw-Tite hitches.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56272 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
