How to Determine SumoSprings For Jayco Travel Trailer
Question:
I’m interested in purchasing some Sumosprings for my 2022 Jayfeather Micro 166fbs single axel trailer and am unsure which model I should buy?

It looks like your trailer has a GVWR of just under 5,000 lbs, which narrows down the choices, so to determine the correct SumoSprings you just need to know if your axle sits above the leaf springs or below the leaf springs, as well as the clearance between the top of the spring plate and bottom of trailer frame.
- Axle Below Leaf Springs: SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # TSS-107-40
(Clearance between top of spring plate and bottom of trailer frame must be between 5-5/16" and 6-1/2")
- Axle Above Leaf Springs: SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # TSS-106-40
(Clearance between top of spring plate and bottom of trailer frame must be between 6" and 8-5/8")
