Can Inno Memory Mount Clamps Be Safely Used on 2022 Lexus GX 460 Factory Rack

Question:

What is the minimum clearance from cross bar to roof of car for these Inno Mounts? I have low profile factory OEM cross bars fitted to my Lexus GX 460 and am interested if these mounts would fit to them without gouging the top of the roof. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

The Memory Mount Clamps for Inno Rooftop Cargo Boxes # INBRP9 will hang down below the box by about 2" and since crossbars are about 1" thick you're looking at the clamps hanging down about 1" below the crossbar. This is pretty slim, but some vehicles have a VERY limited amount of space under the crossbar. It looks like this is the case for your 2022 Lexus GX 460 so I recommend replacing your OEM roof rack with the Inno Aero system that uses the following parts:

- Aero Crossbars # INXB123-130
- Through Feet # INXS350
- Custom Fit Kit # INTR152

This will raise the height of the crossbars enough so you can safely use the Memory Mount Clamps you're looking at.
