Comparing The Frame Rail Attachment Styles Of The B&W # BWGNRK1111 And # BWGNRK1108
Question:
99-2010 F350 BandW gooseneck underbed hitches have C-shaped side plate clamps that go around the frame rails. The 2011-16 hitches do not have these. Do you know the reason for these clamps on the earlier trucks and why they are not needed on the later ones?

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1111 (2011-2016) has different frame rail brackets that allow for additional bolts unlike the # BWGNRK1108 (1999-2010) which has a single bolt and the clamp to attach to the frame rail.
