Jet Needed To Run A Firman 3,300 Watt Rv Generator In 5,000' To 6,000' Elevations
Question:
Does a duel fuel generator like your Firman 3300 have to be adjusted for altitude when using propane? I will be traveling from sea level across several states with varying elevations up to around 5-6000 feet and dont want to have to change jets in the carburetor everyday Im traveling. Im not even sure why the jet in the carburetor has anything to do with it running on propane. I thought the jet in the float bowl was for when running on gasoline.

Jets adjust the fuel/air mixture for proper combustion, regardless of the fuel source. To use your Firman 3,300-Watt Portable RV Dual Fuel Inverter Generator # FIR54FR in 5,000' to 6,000' elevations you'll want to install part # 333-330717002.
