Is The Factory Brake Controller 2012 Ram 2500 Compatible w/Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes?
Question:
Will the 2012 Ram 2500s factory brake controller will work with electric over hydraulicEOH brakes. Like the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes - 1,600 psi # HBA16. If not is there a connector for the Curt flex?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the factory trailer brake controller on your 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 is compatible with the Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # HBA16. You will not need to add the Adapter Module # HBA-CAM unless you plan to tow with another truck which is not compatible.
If you would rather have the Curt TriFlex # C24VV you will need the Wiring Adapter # C51438
