Is Replacing Trailer Leaf Springs Needed When Installing Over Under Kit 3,500 lb Axle
Question:
I have a 2017 Coachmen Clipper travel trailer 17BH and want to flip the single axle rate 3500 lbs and need to know if it is required to replace the leaf springs that are only one year old?

If the current leaf springs are in good working order there would be no need to replace them when installing an over under kit. It's not standard practice to replace them when doing this. Since you have 3,500 lb axles the correct over under kit you would need is the part # K71-384-00 which comes with everything needed.
