Is There Any Way to Control The Middle Jacks On The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Independently?
Question:
This unit came with my fifth wheel, which also includes the 3.0 system. My primary gripe is the inability to extend the mid-jacks/stabilizers via the panel or the interior touchscreen panel in manual mode. Can I upgrade this panel to a panel that has more features? Can I upgrade my interior panel to allow for more features e.g., extend the mid-jacks?

I do have a way which has proven to help control the middle jacks but at this time Lippert does not offer a control panel which allows for operation of just the middle jacks. The Panels # LC74FR and # LC83VR you have along with the Aftermarket Panel # LC421484 for the Lippert Ground Control # LC675817 only allow the middle jacks to lower and stabilize your 5th wheel after the front and rear jacks have leveled the camper. There is a work around which allows you to confuse the system. This involves lowering the jacks and leveling your camper in manual mode for the landing gear and rear jacks. Then you will disconnect the wiring to the rear jacks. This will cause an error but when you then go to manually lower the rear jacks the middle jacks will operate. Do note since it is in error mode at this point you will have to reconnect the rear jacks and retract them all again to get the jacks to rehome and allow for control of the rear jacks again.
