Correct Flat Towing Wiring Harness and Fuse Bypasses For a 2012 GMC Acadia  

Question:

I am looking to buy the wiring kit for my 2012 GMC Acadia for the lights to work behind my RV. Right now I am using lights that mount to the top of the Acadia. I have to pull fuses when I tow, is this going to keep the Acadia lights from working when pulling it behind the RV if I install the wiring kit?

Just the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 by itself is not going to get the lights to work on your 2012 GMC Acadia.

You're also going to need these fuse bypasses: (1) # RM-76517 and (2) # RM76511. From here also using the wiring harness you're looking at, you'll be able to pull off those magnetic lights and use the lights on your Acadia when flat towing.
