How to Get Wires for Top Clearance Lights on Motorhome When Original Wires Are Dropped
Question:
I hope you can help me out. All my five tear front cab clearance lights cramped out at the same time. I have a 2009 Alegro Bus. Can you give me any suggestions like what color is the wire from my headlight switch. My new lights have a black and white wire coming out the bottom. I made a mistake and when I cut the wires off the old light the wires dropped down the hole. So what can I do to fix my problem? Help.

I definitely have some tips to get you back up and running but there isn't a quick and easy way to gain access to those wires.
The best thing to do is use a coat hanger to try to fish those wires out of the access hole and if you can't find them then you might try making an access hole on the inside of your motorhome. I unfortunately don't know the wire colors you're looking for but they should match wires from the other clearance lights - you can test for power and ground using a circuit tester # PTW2993 to ensure you make the right connections.
If you aren't able to find them and you don't want to make an access hole you can use 16 Gauge Wires # 16-1-1, Butt Connectors # DW05744-5, and the coat hanger mentioned above to bridge the connections from a neighboring clearance light.
I don't envy your position but I hope this gives you a good sense of direction on where to go from here!
