Which Transmission Line Should The Derale Transmission Line Connect To on 2011 Buick Enclave?
Question:
Hi I just bought the recommend cooler from you. I just connected it to the lower line running to transmission on driver side, was this the wrong line? I’m thinking I may have been connected to coolant and not transmission. 2011 buck enclave.

The lower transmission line on the 2011 Buick Enclave is the hot line coming from the transmission. You want to connect the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13503 to the upper transmission cooler line returning to the transmission. The Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting # D13035 will allow you to tee into this line at the radiator. I have linked an install video below showing the install on a 2017 GMC Canyon as it uses the same adapter and will show you how to attach it around the 9:00 minute mark of the video.
