Why Isn't Curt Brake Controller Work on 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 After Install
Question:
trying to install a curt venturer to my 2006 sierra 1500 has a 7 and 4 pin connector and bought the wiring harness that plugs in underneath the dash to the controller but getting no power even when connected to a trailer

Under the hood of your 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 there are some connections that need to be made to activate the brake controller wiring. If you check out the help article I attached you can see what you need to do.
