Best Way to Tow a Trailer and Attach a Motorcycle Carrier to the Same Hitch

Question:

I would like to add a 425lb motorcycle to my hitch, on a carrier that I have, rated 600lbs that will also have a 2011 Lance 1685 attached...any thoughts? Towing with a super duty 2016 F250, with airbags thank you

To tow your Lance trailer and haul a motorcycle carrier off of your F-250's hitch, I recommend the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers item # 325-GH-515. This adjustable ball mount has five 2" receiver openings that will allow you to use both a hitch mounted motorcycle rack and tow your trailer. This double ball mount has a 1,500 lbs tongue capacity and a 12,000 lbs towing capacity.

If you have a 2-1/2" receiver you will want the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers item # 325-GH-1925. It is a similar set up but has a much higher towing capacity. It will still work with your motorcycle carrier and trailer you will just need the Gen-Y Hitch Reducer Sleeve item # 325-GH-007 for whichever receiver slot you mount the carrier in.

Both of these ball mounts include a dual 2" ball and 2-5/16" hitch ball. You can mount your motorcycle carrier in any of the remaining stacked receiver slots.
