How To Wire In The Monitor Light For The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System
Question:
The How is the ground accomplished between motorhome and towed vehicle for invisibrake monitor/alarm warning light located in the motor home?

Expert Reply:
The monitor light for the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 would need to be grounded to the chassis of the motorhome. The LED light and audio signal will both have a wire to run down to the chassis and another wire to run over to the towed vehicle to connect to the cold side of the brake light switch. To accomplish this you'll most likely need to extend to wire to run it down to the chassis and then use a ring terminal and self tapping screw to connect the wires to the chassis.
