Can Yakima Fullback Bike Rack be Used in Anchor Mode with 2016 Honda Pilot

Hi, I use fullback 3 trunk on my Honda pilot 2016. I was wondering if I could use anchor mode for bottom straps even if not required. One side of my trunk is banged up a bit and I cannot get required tension on my bottom strap with hook mode..

I would say you can try it and see if when you pull on the strap it holds proper tension. It's never been tested before so you would need to be careful and use your best judgment.
