Will The Replacement Key For UWS Tool Box Fit Unknown Tool Box With 501 Stamped On Lock Cylinder
Question:
My box is old and doesn’t have the name brand info. On the lock it is stamped just “501”but not “CH”. Will this matter? I don’t know what the CH stands for. Everything else looks the same but I want to make sure it is the same key before I order it. Thanks.

I have a suggestion for you as without knowing the box manufacturer or the lock manufacturer it is impossible to guarantee the Key # KEYCH501 will fit your lock. If you can access the inside of the lock you may consider replacing it with the Replacement Lock Cylinder # UWSLOCKCH501. Of course you will need access to verify the cylinder you have can be removed and matches the style of this cylinder. Otherwise you will want to visit a lock smith who will be able to create a new key for you or replace your current lock cylinders for a new set.
