Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch that Fits 2006 Ford F-250 with Pucks in Bed
Question:
I have a2006 f250 4x4 crew cab short bed. Im trying to find a fifthwheel hitch for a camper thats 40 foot weight is 16,000. It has a puck system in the bed. Pics sent. measurements are 30x 13.. I got the truck used but without the hitch you can see on the drivers side rear it was tapped by trailer or camper not sure. Would like one that is about to use the puck system but also slide for tight turns. . Thanks your help. Everyone Ive contacted so far are of no help..

Someone installed the Reese underbed Elite rail kit in your 2006 Ford F-250 which is exact same as the later Ford OEM puck systems. So for a fifth wheel hitch that fits it that would give you additional turning clearance you would want the B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3370 and you'd be set. Around tight corners this hitch slides back to give you the additional clearance you are wanting.
