Expert Reply:
When flat towing your 2019 Jeep Wrangler, you are correct you will need the RoadMaster 12-Volt Outlet # RM-9332 with the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System # BLU37TR.
However, you will not connect it to the rear cargo power outlet. The Jeep's battery won't be disconnected when flat towing, so instead, per the # RM-9332 instructions, you will do the following for power:
- With a test light, find an ATC fuse in the 12-volt fuse
panel which has 12 volts positive current with the ignition
off. Remove the fuse.
- Also with a test light, find the “hot” side of the fuse
socket — the “hot” side of the socket will have constant
12 volts positive current.
- Connect the included fuse tap to the side
of the fuse that will be plugged into the “hot” side of the
socket.
