Replacement Axle Options For a 1998 StarCraft StrarLounge 1224 Pop Up Camper Trailer
Question:
I have a 1998 StarCraft starlounge also known as the 1224 model. I was interested in purchasing a torsion axle but have no idea which of your axles would fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated

We do have some Timbren Axle-Less suspension systems you may be able to use in place of the torsion axle on your 1998 StarCraft StarLounge 1224 as we do not carry any torsion axles. You will need to take some measurements from your frame to the hub face on your current axle as well as the bottom of the axle to the center of the hub vertically as I have no way to know exactly what axle was installed on your camper. Here is a list of the different 3,500lb Timbrens we offer that may fit your camper, just let me know if your measurements are different than those I have listed.
Standard Height # ASR3500S05 (Frame to Hub Face 6", Height 3-13/16" Below Frame)
4" Drop # ASR3500S04 (Frame to Hub Face 6", Height 0" Below Frame)
4" Lift # ASR3500S06 (Frame to Hub Face 6", Height 7-1/2" Below Frame)
You can also switch to a higher option if you would like to increase the ground clearance on your trailer as well. Either of these kits will require 2 of the Hubs # AKIHUB-545-35-EZ-K which will give you a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. If you need a different bolt pattern please let me know and I can help you find the correct hub.
