Solution for Finding Brake Light Switch On Vehicle That isn't At Pedal
Question:
Hello, I recently purchased a brake controller from you guys for my 2008 Isuzu NRR. I was able to get everything installed and have power to the controller. The only thing i can not figure out is which wire the brake light switch connects to from the controller itself to the factory brake light switch on the brake pedal. There are 4 wires in the brake light switch and 2 of them are constantly getting power. I put a 12v tester on the wires and none of them lit up when the brakes were applied. Very confused at this point. any help would be appreciated! Thanks

So you need to find a circuit that only has 12 volts when the brakes are applied. Another place you can use is the third brake light or we have a universal brake light kit part # RM-751000.
