What Is the Difference Between the Left and Right Side Lippert Power Gear Motors?

Question:

What is the difference between left and right-side motors? Is it just the brake orientation? When I remove both the left and right on mine and test them all gearing and motors spin in the same direction. Any input would be appreciated. I need to test a repaired stabilizer that was damaged on the left side before I decide to purchase the right-side motor for a different issue. Or completely go with a hydraulic system and just be done with the Lippert power gear products. The attached photo is from the rear right of my Fleetwood 34G Southwind. As you can see the gearbox is cracked. Thanks in advance.

The only difference between the left # LC386198 and right # LC89CJ motors for the Lippert Power Gear is going to be the brake orientation; Other than that they are going to be the same motor.

As far as your situation goes, If you have the extra money for a new system, the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote # LC675817 for a 6 point or # LC358590 for a 4 point would be my vote, but it is quite a big commitment.

This system is going to be the latest and greatest from Lippert and would definitely be a nice upgrade from your Power Gear.
