How to Confirm Rear Door Ajar Wiring for Bestop Running Board Connection on a 2017 Ram 1500

To connect the (discontinued) Bestop PowerBoard Motorized Running Boards with LED Lights B7513815 to your 2017 Ram 1500 rear door sensor you'll need to test the function of the blue and white wire you found by using a probe like part # PTW2993 to see if that wire gets hot when you open up the rear door.

Unfortunately, I don't have a wiring layout of your truck so if you're seeing different wiring than what Bestop calls out your best bet is to test and make sure you've got the correct wiring.
