The Thule Doubletrack Hitch-Mount Platform Bike Carrier # TH990XT can be installed on your 2010 Cadillac SRX as long as it has a trailer hitch receiver, either a 1-1/4-inch size or a 2-inch size.

Hitch mount carriers differ in the amount of vehicle clearance they provide. The reference point for this clearance measurement is the hitch pin hole on your hitch. The Thule Doubletrack when folded up in the storage position will provide 6-inches of clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole. When in use it will give 6-5/8-inches from the hitch pin hole to the curved bracket (please see photo provided). I also linked a video showing use of this carrier on a similar vehicle.

The linked article explains how to take this clearance measurement and includes a listing of hitch bike racks sorted by the clearance each offers. If your hitch measurement indicates you need more clearance than that provided by the Doubletrack carrier you can use the list to select one that will fit comfortably.

If you need a hitch we offer both Class II 1-1/4-inch and Class III 2-inch hitches for your SRX and these can be seen on the link provided. All are bolt-on products that do not require drilling, but they do require removal of the center fascia panel. All come complete with the required installation hardware. I have linked an install video for one of the hitches we offer, part # 75682 from Draw-Tite, and the process will be essentially the same for any of them. This mounting position for this particular hitch places the hitch pin hole 4-1/2 inches from the back of the bumper so the Doubletrack will fit fine with this hitch.
